The spicy Cascabel peppers that make up Mezzetta Hot Chili Peppers are grown in Northern California, just a stone's throw from our Napa Valley production facility. Our longstanding relationships with local family farmers mean that Jeff Mezzetta and our production manager are able to inspect each and every crop for uniformity, heat and texture and select only the very best chilies. Harvested at their peak, the chilies are delivered to our facility and packed within twenty-four hours, ensuring that we retain their natural heat and fresh-picked flavor. These spicy, perfectly bite-sized little firecrackers are not for the timid. Typically served as a garnish alongside Mexican food, they can also be diced and used in salsa, quesadillas or as a topping for nachos. Our hard-core fans eat them right out of the jar!
